Volunteer at Tumbleweeds
This year’s Festival is our most ambitious yet, not only with films, Festival Field Trips, and workshops, but also an expanded Clubhouse featuring nearly two dozen activities designed to invigorate the imaginations of the young and young-at-heart. As you’d expect, we need an unprecedented amount of volunteer help. We invite you to join us for a weekend of fun, creative exploration, and learning!
To learn more about the roles we have available and to sign up for particular shifts scroll to the bottom of this page where the opportunities are listed in chronological order, beginning with the Festival Field Trips roles on Thursday, March 1. As Tumbleweeds is truly an inter-generational festival, we also welcome those who wish to bring their children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews to volunteer alongside them. Once you find a job and shift you like, just click the “sign up” link beside the shift’s date and time, enter your information in the pop-up window and click “Sign Up.”
For more information about the Festival itself, please visit the official website here. If you have any questions about volunteering at the Festival or about previous volunteer hours which you can apply towards Tumbleweeds benefits, please don’t hesitate to contact us at mpatterson [at] utahfilmcenter.org or Festival Manager Carly Nelson at cnelson [at] utahfilmcenter.org.
