Two very different families spend their holidays in the same house at the seaside: the aristocratic Castelvecchios, open-minded, eccentric, but quite selfish, and the working-class Petagnas, very tight-knit, and united around solid conservative values. What brought such distant worlds together? Only the secret love of Tony and Carlo, the two middle-aged heads of the families. It’s hard to find well-made queer movies that have a good plot, as well, as convincing character development, and good acting, let alone a GAY ROM COM starring two middle-aged men! As the familes collide, the individual quirks and passions come to a fever pitch, weaving class, queer idenity, and family dynamics into a delightful mess.
