Two Norwegian surfers escape their day-to-day life to follow their dreams of surfing a secret, uninhabited Arctic bay all winter long. The spot is remote and beautiful, but due to currents, large amounts of garbage wash ashore. In between surfing, paragliding, and snowboarding, the surfers use the trash to build their shelter and create tools to help them clean the beach during their winter north of the sun. Featuring spectacular cinematography, stunning scenery, and an eye opening look at waste and its impact on the environment, North of the Sun will inspire you to look for your own adventure and challenge you to think about conservation and consumerism.
