Summer is in full swing and what better way to celebrate the warm weather and desire to be outside than with friends, gourmet food, and film? Each year, when the temperature gets balmy and the air is sweet, wonderful supporters, along with the Utah Film Center, host Garden Parties at their private homes. The most recent Garden Party was hosted by Laurie Hofmann and David Classen, two individuals who understand how important FUN, COMMUNITY, & FILM are to building a better world.
On July 19, 2014 Utah Film Center supporters ascended the hills of the avenues to the Hofmann-Classen home. Upon arrival guests were greeted with a taco cart (serving the most delectable tacos north of the border), frozen margaritas, and blossoming trees and flowers. The private residence is a feast for the eyes, with an incredible garden and extensive art collection, Laurie and David’s home was the perfect backdrop for a private screening about the wonders of gardening.
The next Garden Party hosted by the Utah Film Center will be presented by John and Marcia Price. The vastness of their yard and impressive sculpture garden will no doubt awe all who arrive. Food and Drink will be served, as will a screening of an inspiring film centered around cycling–Rising From Ashes. To join us for this Garden Party, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 please click HERE.
We hope to see you at a Garden Party soon!
