Teachers! Most of you have probably heard of TED Talks. You know the ones: the super curated, often brilliant, rarely uninspiring lecture series from interesting people around the world. Well the smart people over at TED have another great product up their sleeves aimed squarely at teachers and students. This is TED-Ed!
At TED-Ed you can find hundreds of thousands of lessons (256,689..but who’s counting?). Each includes a short video, a list of multiple choice and open answer questions, and discussion prompts for your classroom. The videos are organized by subject. From science and engineering to economics, psychology to mathematics, linguistics to geography – there are thousands to choose from.
Did we mention the videos? They are awesome. Your students will love them. Here are a couple of our favorites to get you started:
