The Utah Film Center is a Salt Lake City-based 501(c)3 that connects people, stories, and ideas through film and media arts. Founded in 2002, Utah Film Center presents films for cinema lovers of all ages, offers in-class and teacher-focused education programs, and offers support for filmmakers.


Grant Writer

The grant writer is responsible for supporting relationships with corporate, foundation, and government partners. Proposal writing, reporting, grant stewardship, and data integrity are primary responsibilities of the position. This position also supports the processes of crafting and communicating the story of Utah Film Center, its role, and its impact in the community. While this position reports to the development director, it also works closely with marketing and UTFC’s program managers. The grant writer must be able to apply and further the Utah Film Center’s core beliefs of: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) as well as professionalism, innovation and creativity.

Film Program Manager

The Film Program Manager is an integral position for the Utah Film Center. This position works closely with the Executive Director to create diverse, high-quality, and unique film programming, embracing all genres, cultures, and viewpoints. The Film Program Manager is also responsible for the creation and planning of professional development workshops for working and aspiring filmmakers. This position is part of the UtFC Programming team, which is responsible for implementing all of the UtFC’s programs and assures that all activities and events adhere to the artistic vision and reputation of the organization.
